Building AI agents at a startup

Glowtify is 6 agents covering digital marketing

Users describe their intent in the app, whether it is strategy, a campaign, content or analysis. The right agent takes over. Decisions move faster, and their results feed the next action.

I am its sole Product Manager, with about ten people in product and engineering and dozens of releases a day. The positioning changed 2 times in 2 years (Shopify e-commerce, agencies, then B2B manufacturers), and each time, sales saw it coming first.

Showing up in ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude

A GEO module built from scratch, crossing Semrush keyword data with the questions people ask AI assistants. Marketing teams see what AI says about their brand and how to improve it.

Contributing to the code

I ship minor changes and prototypes myself with coding agents, reviewed by engineering before release. Designers and customer success use the same path through an in-house plugin.

Close to the founders, Customer Success and sales

At a startup, the product is built with the whole company, not just the product team.

  • The founders set the vision.
  • Customer Success picks up the first signals of need.
  • Sales sees the ICP shifting before anyone else.

Tickets come out of these conversations, customer interviews and usage data (Mixpanel, BigQuery).

Method

Every idea becomes a measurable bet, then tickets precise enough for the team to build without coming back with questions. Then we read the numbers, and the team decides what comes next.
